Qi Chen

I am currently a principal researcher at Microsoft Research Asia Vancouver. I obtained my Bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Computer Science at Peking University, under the guidance of Professor Zhen Xiao. From 2013 to 2014, I worked as a visiting student under the supervision of Professor Jinyang Li at the System Group of New York University. I am a recipient of the OSDI'20 Jay Lepreau Best Paper Award and the NeurIPS'22 Outstanding Paper Award. My current research interests include distributed systems, cloud computing, vector databases, deep learning algorithms and artificial intelligence systems.
